Natalie’s Aunt Diana, better known as “Auntie” was extremely generous in hosting our engagement party. Both of our families were gracious enough to make the trip to Santa Rosa, along with all of our GREAT friends. Both were rewarded with incredible weather, and an even better time.

Natalie and I would like to thoroughly thank everyone for attending. You have no idea what it sincerely means to us. We are lucky to have such great people in our life; we couldn’t ask for anything else. We are very lucky.

World, Meet Parker Francis!

Mr. Parker Francis Comerford came into this world on March 12th, 2008. For those of you keeping score, I was indeed inaccurate on my prediction of his impending birth (I predicted my own birthday, March 20th).

 In any event, Natalie and I flew down to Laguna yesterday to finally meet the young fellow, and this is the results. It goes without saying that he is too cute for words. Fortunately for Brent and Britney, he is also the most mellow baby alive. I dare you not to love him!

I understand that a lot of you are beginning to get your engagement invitations in the mail. Thanks to everyone for the kind voice mails, and all the general excitement. It’s going to be a great time!

In any event, the site has been updated to reflect all information pertaining to the engagement party (yes, we did color code it to match the invitation) You can locate that information by clicking here. Once the site is loaded click on tab “Wedding”. This will bring up a couple of links. From there you can click on the link that says “Engagement Party & Bridal Shower” and voila!

P.S. Natalie and I are down in Orange County for the umpteenth time this year, but it’s for a good reason. We are going to meet our brand new nephew! Pictures will be available soon.

Counting Crows

As most of you know, I am an avid Crows fan. I understand that as a result of my personal “Counting Crows can do no wrong” stance, you’re going to think that this recommendation is diluted.

It’s not. Their new album is without a doubt, the best effort they have put fourth ever. Don’t get me wrong, I can barely choose which album is my favorite as it is because they are all great. But there is just something about this album that stands out. Check it out here.

I know a lot of you have already seen our wedding site, but it is officially live starting today. (MY BIRTHDAY!)

As the story goes, about two weeks ago Natalie and I registered at Macy’s who apparantly has some sort of deal with weddingchannel.com, where once a couple registers, they develop a wedding site for them. As most of you may know, I am a stickler for good design, and let’s just say the template design that site came up with, is poor at best. With that said, I felt compelled to develop a better designed and more functional site, and here it is. If you are wondering about the song, see my recommendations coming up in the next week.

In any event, the entire purpose of this site is to organize and display any and all information pertinent to our wedding. So far, I think it’s been pretty useful. Feel free to let us know what you think by signing the guest book.

I know this is a bit late, but I’ve been busy on a side project. However, I wanted to get my post in before the Big Dance starts, and I don’t seem to be the only one calling the Vanderbilt upset. Regardless, this team is pretty young in terms of experience, and I don’t expect a win this year. I think should they make it, next year, they are a much larger threat.

In any event, as an avid Saint’s fan, I needed to bask in my glory while I still could. LET’S GO SAINTS!
